Combining hands-on demonstration with real-life examples, interactive discussion, and strategic approaches, Matthew will walk you through setting up a blog-based website and show you how to harness the power of social media to build and enhance your presence and profile online.

  • Learn how to integrate Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, and other social media into your website.
  • Delve into the how and why of WordPress, free software that you can use to build a professional, customized website with seamless integration of blogs and podcasts.
  • Learn how to edit and publish video on your website and other social media sites using free or inexpensive tools.
  • Discover whole collections of online tools that are inexpensive or free, and watch them in action.
  • Get an overview of mailing list management and technology, and learn why your mailing list is your most overlooked asset.
  • Brainstorm realistic and strategic first steps you can take today, as soon as you leave the workshop, for maximum immediate impact.
