Thanksgiving Food Drive: “Feeding the 500”

Young student Alyssa Liu accepted a challenge at camp this summer to organize a food drive for Thanksgiving, with the goal of raising enough food and funds to feed 500 families.

Alyssa has partnered with the Valley View Community Food Bank and her youth group at Christ’s Church at The Crossroads in Anthem. And here at Next Coffee Co., we want to help her meet her goal of feeding the 500!

We’ll have a donation drop box inside the store. Please bring by any canned goods and dry foods you can donate and help us make this food drive a success!

The food drive is also taken donations of frozen turkeys. If you’d like to donate a frozen turkey, please contact the Valley View Community Food Bank at (623) 933-3358 and mention that the donation is for Alyssa Liu’s food drive.

Canned Goods

• Green beans
• Yams
• Corn
• Chicken broth
• Gravy
• Cranberry sauce
• Pie fillings (pumpkin, cherry, apple, etc.)
• Fruit

Dry Foods

• Stuffing mixes
• Cornbread mixes
• Muffin mixes
