One of our favorites, and one of the best undiscovered bands in the Southwest, 13 to the Gallows is back on the Next Coffee Co. stage this Friday.
Part Johnny Cash, part Dale Hawkins, with a Whiskeytown twist and spiked with barbed wire, 13 to the Gallows update classic country and vintage juke-joint with surf-tinged strains of neo-rockabilly; electrified, percussive arrangements; and brooding lyrics torn through with the Arizona desert, lost roads, and dust-worn, inescapable places.
