Take the Challenge- the kindness challenge

Next Coffee Co. has teamed up with the Glendale Chapter of Kids for Peace. It is our pleasure to host such wonderful kids and support them as they change the world, one step at a time. Join us and them to make a difference for everyone! Saturday, August 14 at 8:30am, the group will meet at NEXT for a brief overview and to collect the kindness check list. Then they set out to make differences all over the city. Then, they will join again at 12:00pm at  NEXT to have a light lunch and share stories of their day. The event is open to anyone who would like to join in. For more information, visit http://www.greatkindnesschallenge.org/

The Great Kindness Challenge is one day devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible. Our goal this year is to have over one million children participate. It is our hope that this day will inspire a lifelong commitment to service and kindness.

From sunup to sundown, children around the world will accomplish simple, kind deeds using The Great Kindness Challenge Checklist.

The checklist features 50 acts of kindness to choose from. Click here to download the checklist. Then just do what you can on August 14. Even the simplest acts can make a big difference in someone’s life. And you just might be amazed at how fun it can be.

  1. Thank you Next for hosting the Great Kindness Challenge! Next was the perfect location for our families to gather. The kids enjoyed making cards for our local firefighters, nurses and patients at Arrowhead and Thunderbird hospitals. Everyone loved the food and coffee. I love that Next supports local kids and families trying to make a difference!

Thanks for being a valuable and fun part of our community!
