Coffee Talk
After a nice vacation to Disneyland; and turning 40, I was so happy to get back to work at Next Coffee Company.It is nice to go away, but even better to return to the folks I work with, Anne, Lauren, William, and all the others… While I was away, I had a chance to visit many coffee shops with my best friends.They know me well, and know how critical I can be of other shops, and of the variety that they offer (or should I say don’t offer). I have to say, in all the shops I went to, and all the carts I stopped intothe coffee at Disneyland was the best. Perhaps it was that I was there…the happiest place on earth or that it was just well made lattes either way, it was good.
It made me think about our coffee at Next Coffee Company. I feel, as I am sure many of you feel that ours is beyond compare. We start with the best espresso (thanks Josh) and add our layers of flavor to create that unique Next moment; that first sip that tells you that this is not just your average Latte, that this is a Next Coffee. I realized that while I was away, I really just wanted our coffee, and not some others. I hardly finished any drink I ordered while on vacation, except at Disneyland. I finish every drink I get from Next, and then I want to lick the cup good thing I work there! There is something special here at Next…a feel, a taste, the people, guests and employees alike.
I was also thrilled to have a chance to try the Jamaican Pork Sandwich that Anne has whipped up for us this month. I love me some pork, it is my favorite meat, and the bun has been sent from heaven. Kudos to Anne for the Fa-boo sandwich, and for the even better wild rice salad. Great combo too!
I am so happy to be back, and making coffee again at Next, and I hope to see all my regulars, and a whole lot of new faces also. Come on in, try the Jamacian Pork and a great coffee and feel, like I do at home!

Hi, I am a fan of Next Coffee Company. I enjoy being greeted by name when I arrive for my afternoon “reading party”. Reading, studying or just chatting with friends is encouraged.
Excellent food, drinks and desserts await you! Try the chicken and Grape sandwich, it’s great!!! Any problems? A quiet word to Lauren, Anne or Steve and it will be resolved quickly!
I am in CA on a business trip and at a coffee shop I used to frequent when I lived there. It is now a national chain, boo. But most of all, I have found a new worst for coffee. I had an iced decaf coffee and it tastes like nuts, not coffee. I miss your coffee, and my friends. You guys not only have great food and coffee but great people too.
